The Weyburn Arts Council is accepting entries for the Winter Art Sale –

The Gifted Winter Art Market takes place this year on November 12, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Cugnet Center.

For those who weren’t thinking too far of the summer art market in terms of Christmas gifts, this is a great opportunity to find something unique and handmade for everyone on your list.

For artists and craftspeople, or anyone who makes things with their hands, who has something to sell, Weyburn Arts Council is currently accepting vendor registration.

“The forms are now out and they are due September 30, when we will decide,” said Regan Lanning, arts coordinator and city curator. “Our summer sale, we don’t really judge it. If you apply, you’re sort of welcome as long as it’s handmade. With the winter sale, we’re more limited in terms of space because in the summer we have the whole park, in the winter we have the Cugnet Center, which is great, but we could fill it many times, probably, for the winter.

“So we’re doing a little bit of judgment just to make sure that everyone who wants to be in it ‘fits’ into our vision of selling, and that we don’t have like seven people offering the same thing.”

Find the application form HERE, or request it by email at [email protected] Alternatively, you can message WAC via Instagram or Facebook.

Vendor spaces are $50 with proceeds donated to local art classes for better affordability and accessibility.
