Matt Holton and Dave Herdan, hosts of the Root Beer Radio Podcast from Minneapolis, Minn., Take photos and view handfuls of root beer memorabilia at a special opening May 28 for the Museum of Root Beer in Wisconsin Dells.

Andrew, a resident of Wisconsin Dells, said his love for root beer started as a child, after seeing Snoopy drink it in the “Peanuts” comics.

“I grew up thinking root beer was cool,” he said.

Andrew said what makes root beer “cool” is not just the flavor, but the many varieties of soda and the different ways to prepare it with carbonation, sweetener and flavor.

“You can just dive in and continue to discover,” Andrew said.

Entrance to the museum is $ 4. Participants can purchase root beer for an additional fee. Donations of old root beer bottles and memorabilia are also welcome, Andrew said.

Andrew said he loved the Dells atmosphere and enjoyed the various activities and attractions with his family. He is delighted to offer something more and unique to visitors to Dells.

“I think it’s going to reach an audience far beyond Dell as well,” Andrew said. “The museum is very unique because there is no other museum that celebrates all of these root beers.”
