Volunteer events of the Department of Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services (PRNS) for the month of November 2021. For more information, visit the web page.
Volunteer events are listed in chronological order from left to right, top to bottom.
Volunteers aged 6 and over are welcome.
PRNS offers volunteer events throughout the month of November to provide residents with a safe way to enjoy our beautiful outdoor spaces and make a difference.
All sessions of the event will require volunteers to follow current measures of the COVID-19 security protocol. The city of San José has a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination and testing policy. Additional information regarding this policy is available on the City’s website.
Face covers are recommended if you have not been vaccinated and are in a crowded outdoor environment. Security protocols are subject to change to follow state and county guidelines.
Volunteers are provided with all the necessary tools and training, and are asked to bring a bottle of water, snacks and wear closed-toe shoes. All sessions will take place rain or shine.
Those interested in volunteering should register in advance for the events linked above. For more information contact: [email protected] or call 408-595-3483.
