MARQUETTE – The Marquette Public Art Commission will be holding its regular monthly meeting today. The meeting will be held virtually from 6.30 p.m. with board members and staff present remotely. This meeting will be available through Zoom.

There will be three options for public participation in this meeting: videoconference, conference call or written comment. There will be two public comment periods for the meeting, one near the top of the agenda and one at the end. Comments are limited to three minutes and speakers should give their name and address before speaking.

Members of the public wishing to call and comment over the phone will need to call 312-626-6799 and enter meeting ID 874 6621 6920 and passcode 452395.

The videoconference and conference call lobby will open at 6:25 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14. When participating by video or phone, you will be muted until the public comment portions of the meetings are reached. Once public comments have started, the chairman will go through everyone who raises a hand or asks via the chat, providing an opportunity to speak to the full board. It is recommended that participants follow the Zoom meeting to know when the public comment portion is approaching and to be ready to comment.

Written comments will be presented to the Board of Directors at the meeting and can be submitted by emailing [email protected] Written submissions will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. today.
