Enlightened presents sugar-free chocolate syrup
Beyond Better Foods is expanding its Enlightened line of low sugar candy bars with the new Sugar Free Chocolate Syrup.
Sweetened with Erythritol and Monk Fruit, Enlightened Sugar Free Chocolate Syrup is made with soluble corn fiber, water, cocoa, salt, natural flavor and citric acid. Each tablespoon serving has 20 calories, 9 grams of fiber, 1 gram of net carbs, and no sugar. Traditional chocolate syrup can contain up to 12 grams of net carbs and 10 grams of sugar, the company said.
“You can’t have a classic ice cream sundae without a little chocolate syrup on top,” says Michael Shoretz, founder and CEO of Beyond Better Foods. “We’re thrilled to offer a sugar-free option that doesn’t compromise on taste or texture, two aspects that are so important when it comes to chocolate syrup. “
The launch of Enlightened sugar-free chocolate syrup follows the launch of sugar-free ice cream cones in February, which marked the brand’s first foray outside the frozen section. Enlightened also offers pints of ice cream, ice cream bars, snack cookie dough bites, keto-friendly cheesecakes, and adaptogen infused fruit bars.
“Now we have everything you need to create the perfect ice cream sundae – a cone, a scoop of creamy ice cream, a handful of bites of dough, and a drizzle of syrup – with much less sugar,” Shoretz said.
Enlightened Sugar Free Chocolate Syrup is now available on Amazon for $ 11.99 a 15 ounce bottle and will roll out to Whole Foods Market, Sprouts Farmers Market, Pavilions, Albertsons, Fresh Thyme and other retailers in the coming months. .
