Bakko Transfer, Inc. announces new corporate identity
Today, the name of Bakko Transfer, Inc. was officially announced as the new identity of the organization. Derived from the name of the owners’ family, the Bakko family business model has been very successful with an emphasis on customer service.
“On behalf of the Bakko family, we are delighted to bring our mark of customer service excellence to the hay industry in central Nebraska,” said Rachel Bakko, co-owner of Bakko Transfer, Inc.
In 2020, the Bakko family of Glenwood, MN, seized the opportunity to acquire the companies VC Howard Hay and H&H Hay Moving in Litchfield, NE. The combined companies began their operations as the Howard Hay Company. In the spring of 2021, the Howard Hay Company acquired the Hay-4-You Company from Arcadia, NE.
“The time has come to rename this organization with the name Bakko”, Rachel Bakko said.
Bakko Transfer buys, sells, transports and crushes hay and other forage crops year round. Bakko Transfer specializes in handling and processing fodder crops for animal husbandry. A fleet of specialized equipment, with experienced operators, custom grinds and packs high moisture corn, as well as pushed and packaged silage for many operations in central Nebraska. In addition, they operate a full-service auto repair shop for trucks and passenger vehicles in Litchfield, NE.
